Christmas Day 2008

Christmas was very good to Ryder and all of us this year! Ryder got so many presents! More than we have space to store, but he loves each and everyone of them. All of the presents pictured are mostly from Mommy, Daddy, and Santa. He loves his drums. We are hoping that he has been blessed with the Patterson musical gene. We would love for him to have a love for music! He can sure make noise with the drums!!!! He also received a keyboard and a guitar! They are fun for him to learn what they are.
This is hsi BIKE! He was so excited with this! He loves it and is doing really good with it. It is a little big for him still, but he is growing up really fast and will fit on it in no time.

He really thought that the train was cool, but he was not into it too much. I think he was a little overwhelmed with all of the gifts!

This is a video learning game for Ryder to hook up to the TV. We think that he is going to love it!
He did really good with opening all of his presents. He got a little tired at times and needed a break!

He loved his new shoes from Papa Albert and Grandma Doris!

The stocking he loved, but daddy had to help him!

SANTA and MICKEY MOUSE

Ryder loves his Daddy! He is all about his daddy these days. They were having quite a good time together looking at all the beautiful Christmas Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Ryder thought that this was the coolest thing he had ever seen. Lightening and Mater were alive. They were talking and reving up their engines. He was so excited!!!!

Ryder LOVES His Mickey Mouse Ears! He thinks that they are really special. He does not really like the sting attached to the hat though!

Ryder and Santa became great friends this year! Ryder walked right up and said with no fear, HI SANTA!" He told Santa he wanted a "Buttball"! Santa said a what, mommy whispered in Santa's ear that he meant to say FOOTBALL. Santa got it then! Ryder misses the "F" on the word everytime!

He was so excited to see Mickey Mouse! He loved every minute of it and was not afraid at all. We are still waiting to find something that he is afraid of!

Universal Studios with Aunt Mary and Aunt Jessie

Ryder, Aunt Jessie, and Auntie Mary went to Universal Studios on December 13, 2008 to enjoy their holiday events. Aunt Jessie buttoned up Ryder's coat in the picture above and clearly did it wrong! :) Ryder had a great time with them as always!

Thanksgiving and "The Bruise"

Thanksgiving was great! We had a nice dinner at my Grandma and Grandpa Bower's with Aunt Mary, Uncle Steve, and Jessie. Ryder had a great time and ate too much, just like the rest of us!

The Sunday before Thanksgiving Ryder was playing at home and ran smack dab into the corner of the coffee table. The result.....the lovely bruise in the middle of his forehead!!!! Wasn't the first time and certainly won't be the last! :)

Jusr Ryder

On Friday night Ryder and I were home playing and I was trying to take some pictures of him to supply eveyone with an update. Needless to say this one says it all!!!! He was not very willing to have his picture taken. After this coming weekend we should have some more photos to update the blog with. We are taking him to Disney once again to visit Mickey and see all of the Christmas Lights.
After giving a bribe of fruit snacks I managed to get this one picture. Hope that everyone is doing well. Miss everyone!

Universal with Aunt Mary & Jessie

Ryder spent the day with Aunt Mary & Jessie at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! He loved every minute of it......he sipped blue slurpee with Jessie, got to slide down huge yellow slides, saw the Grinch, Dr. Seuss, and Barney, rode One fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and did many other fun things! He had a blast with the as always, but wore them out. He is a very busy little man you know!

Ryder loves spending time with Aunt Mary & Jessie, they take him lots of fun places. We all joke that he has nothing to look forward too since he gets to do everything that most little kids dream about doing!
We are all doing really well! We have had a rocky road lately, but will get through it!

Mommy had a girl's night in while Daddy was in Dallas, TX for Geoff & Joy's Wedding. The girl's helped Ryder carve his first pumpkin, specifically Leslie & Lexie. Ryder had a blast, but thought that it was rather "YUCKY"!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

A couple of weeks ago we took him to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. He loved it. Jason and I had a really good time too. Ryder was a spider, everyone thought that he was so cute. he was definitly the star of the show. We trick or treated all around the park, rode rides, and took a ton of pictures!

Aunt Mary, Uncle Steve, Auntie Jessie, and Uncle Ramon all went with us to the party. We were all like kids in a candy store with all of the excitement! We had a great time.

New Blog

Hello Family & Friends!
I know that it has been quite a while since an update on our family has been provided! So her it goes: Ryder, Jason and I are doing wonderful! We are all keeping busy with work and home life. Jason is hanging in there at work, but is really good otherwise. I am keeping really busy with work as we are going into our busiest season. Ryder is a walking, talking machine! He loves to dance and jump. Jumping is something that he has decided he can do, however jumping with out falling is not something that he has perfected yet. He is beginning to form sentences more and more each day. He loves to ask about Diesel. Everywhere we go he says " where Diesel?"
